Anne Peirce Caiola
Annie received her Bachelor of Arts in English with distinction from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 2002.
In 2005, Annie received her Juris Doctor with Honors from UNC, Chapel Hill as well.
Among other honors, Annie is member of Phi Beta Kappa and a National Coca-Cola Scholar Recipient.
worked for five years at one of the largest, well-respected international law firms in Atlanta before joining forces with Bobby Slotkin.
represents businesses and individuals in various types of litigation.
practice focuses on commercial, real estate and banking litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, franchise disputes, collections, contract disputes, tort work and estate litigation and planning.
has litigated cases through jury trial and on appeal in both Federal and State Court.
In 2012, Annie
was named a "Rising Star" by Georgia Super Lawyers Magazine
In 2007, Annie
co-authored "U.S. Data Breach Notification Law: State by State," a handbook published by the American Bar Association
has also presented at dozens of speaking engagements around metro Atlanta on Georgia's landlord/tenant law.
is admitted to practice in all Georgia state and superior courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Annie is a proud member of the Leadership DeKalb Class of 2013 and an active volunteer with City Schools of Decatur.
She has served on Decatur Superintendent's Engagement Committee and the Advisory Council at College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center.
Annie also served on Board of Directors for the DeKalb Bar Association from 2010-2012.
