Ann Marie Miller is the Executive Director of the Buda Economic Development Corporation in Buda, Texas.
The Buda Economic Development Corporation
is a Texas Type B Economic Development organization that was created in 2002 with the mission of "providing leadership in creating and pursuing balanced economic growth, by recruiting and retaining desirable diverse businesses and developing infrastructure, while protecting the quality of life and natural resources of the region."
Prior to accepting the Executive Director Position with the Buda EDC, Miller worked as the Vice President of Economic Development for the Ada Jobs Foundation in Ada, OK.
Miller has over 8 years' experience in Economic Development and is one of the youngest people to receive the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation.
Miller is a graduate of the William S. Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.
Miller attended OSU on a Regents Scholarship and completed her degree in three years.
Miller is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute as well.
Miller is from Oklahoma and is a registered Chickasaw Citizen.
was presented with the Governor's Commendation in 1993, at the age of nine, for her
work on the Governor's Easter Egg Hunt for the Blind.
The Oklahoma Federation of Business and Professional Women
as Oklahoma's Young Careerist in 2008, and Miller
went on to compete on the National Level.

Miller's work has been recognized with an Award of Excellence for an Economic Development Website from the Southern Economic Development Council
Miller also served as a presenter at the 2012 Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER) Annual Conference.
Miller is a member of the International Economic Development Council, Southern Economic Development Council, Texas Economic Development Council, Team Texas, and the OSU Alumni Association.
Miller also serves on the Marketing Committee for the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute.
When not working, Miller
enjoys spending time outdoors with the love of her
life, Jasper, who she
rescued from an animal shelter.
Miller also enjoys hunting and fishing and is a member of the Hays County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
