Vice President, Events & Marketing
Anne Hellwig oversees marketing, public relations, communications, and comprehensive outreach initiatives for a wide variety of GNA clients and projects.
A key element of her
position is the production and management of large-scale conferences and event series throughout the United States.
is responsible for all aspects of these events including agenda development, budgeting, contract negotiation, logistics, fundraising and sales, marketing, media and public relations, and team management.
GNA-organized events focus on strategies for improving air quality through the increased adoption of alternative fuels, innovative emission control technologies, and industry best practices, as well as on the policies and strategies proven to demonstrate efficiency and air quality benefits.
Under Ms. Hellwig's
is able to offer clients not only logistical and planning expertise, but also insight into concept and agenda development and marketing plan design.
oversees several national events including the Low Carbon Fuels Conference Series
which includes the Alternative Clean Transportation Expo, the Low Carbon Fuels Expo, the National NGV Fleet Summit and the National Biomethane Summit.
also produces the Faster Freight - Cleaner Air Conference Series (Southern California, Pacific Northwest, East Coast).
Ms. Hellwig directed several large events for the California Air Resources Board's "Drive Clean California" consumer outreach campaign and manages projects for other clients on a broad range of topics ranging from climate change policy to regulatory updates.
also actively participates on the development of GNA's
"Carbon Management Strategies" partnership and efforts in this arena.
In addition to designing effective communications and outreach strategies for GNA clients, Ms. Hellwig also works with the GNA technical team to support a wide range of grant writing activities.
She also oversees management of an extensive collection of client websites and leads a creative team of graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing specialists.
Prior to joining GNA in March of 2008, Ms. Hellwig served as a Vice President with Auberge Resorts, a California-based collection of hotels, resorts and clubs.
Her previous experience includes tenure with a real estate and property management firm in Vail, Colorado where she managed financial and operational affairs for a real estate portfolio valued at over $100 million.
She earlier served as general manager of the Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa, where she was responsible for the development of a fractional residential ownership program and management of a team of more than 200 employees.
Ms. Hellwig received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
