Ann-Marie Cerda Aaron A founding member of the firm, Ms. Aaron, also known as "Sam," currently handles a variety of cases in litigation, with an emphasis on trial practice. From 1983 to 1987 she practiced as an assistant district attorney with the Bexar County District Attorney's office trying misdemeanor, felony and civil cases. As head of the Forfeiture Section of the district attorney's office she appeared before every civil and criminal court in Bexar County. From 1987 to 1991 she was in private practice working in pre-litigation claims and cases in litigation. In 1991, Ms. Aaron was appointed Judge of the 37th Judicial District Court. Since 1993 she has maintained a litigation practice in South Texas. Ms. Aaron was born in San Antonio, Texas and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1982. She was educated at the University of Texas at San Antonio and received a B.A. in political science in 1979. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin in 1982. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas. In addition, Ms. Aaron has been active in other organizations including the Bexar County Women's Bar Association, as president in 1988 and Treasurer in 1986 and 1989. She is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.
