Cern, 81, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday June 10, 2004 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.Mrs. Cern died June 5, 2004, at her residence.She was born Aug. 6, 1922, in East Brady, Pa., she lived in Willowick for 44 years before moving to Mentor-on-the-Lake four years ago.She was a member of St. John Vianney Church, was active in Slovenian Women's Union 50 and was a member of Euclid Homemakers Club.She loved baking.Mrs. Cern was an inspector at Whitey Co.Division of Swagelok in Highland Heights, retiring after 25 years.Survivors are her daughters, Rosemary (Roger) Zavoda of Perry Township, Kathleen (Jack) Coreman of Mentor and Ann Marie (Alan) Koss of Mentor; son, Paul D. (Penny) Radvansky of Mentor; grandchildren, Lisa Marie, Kimberly Ann, Michael, Jason, Monica, Jeffrey, Brian, Julie and Candice; 10 great-grandchildren; step-sons, John (Toni) Cern of Lakewood and Matt (Kathy) Cern of Richfield; step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Megan, Matthew and Kerri; and three step-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Adolph Cern, Mitch Fiktus and Paul J. Radvansky; grandchildren, Shelly, John, Stanley and Alan R.; brother, Joseph Stimac; and sisters, Stella Habe, Frances Kovic and "Little" Mary Stimac.
