Anke Rice, Ms.T.
Born and raised in Germany, Anke Rice came to the U.S. in 1991 and graduated from the Massage Therapist Training in 1999.
With a long background in yoga and Buddhist meditation, Anke
maintains a mindful massage practice.
In each session this focus allows her
to stay present with herself, her
client and the shared energy.
Joining IPSB's staff in 2002, Anke discovered her passion for teaching and sharing her understanding of massage in the Massage Technician Program, Advanced Circulatory Massage and her Spa workshop.
Anke is a Senior Massage Therapist at a popular day spa where she offers workshops on body mechanics.
Additionally, she teaches Anatomy for Yoga and maintains an active private massage practice in Pasadena.
A fan of giving (and therefore receiving), Anke
has volunteered in many organizations.
