The home is situated in a lush landscape and is the home of John C. and Anita Luther
Also in 1948, Luther
began development of a service station and restaurant that became East Hills Restaurant.
East Hills Restaurant continued to be operated by Luther and his wife Anita
until it closed in 1998.

and Shannon Bruce; stunning floral decorations designed by Luther's aunt, Martha Luther Elmore and other Garden Club members who brought their prized floral designs to share with the community; perfectly prepared meals by long-time chefs such as Paul Baucom and others; and oh , the pies!
In 1968, Luther
purchased the family home at 100 East Hills Terrace.In May 1995 John and Anita Luther
opened East Hills Bed and Breakfast Inn in their home and have since expanded it to include two guest cottages, providing eight guest rooms.
...Anita Johnson Luther spent her career as a business law and accounting teacher at McGavock High School.She
has been an active participant in the Dickson community.She has served as a Board Member for the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce, a founding Board Member of the Dickson County Tourism Council and a leading member of Education Edge.
Both Luthers are active members and officers of the Tennessee Bed & Breakfast Association
.She is a member of the High Noon Rotary Club.
