Ani Bedrosian Adaimy, New Horizons Family Center's 'Woman-of-the-Year' for 2005
...Ani Bedrosian Adaimy Ani Bedrosian Adaimy has been a great advocate for the families of south Glendale.Born in Baghdad, Ani came to the United States in 1972.She and her family made Glendale its first home, where she attended Glendale High School and Glendale Community College.Ani
did not let language or cultural barriers get in the way of serving the community.Like any project Ani
mind on doing, she
hit the ground running and became actively involved in numerous community service organizations, including the Armenian Relief Society
.As its youngest member at the time, Ani
Saturdays working with new immigrants, hoping to bring diverse cultures together. Ani ventured into the world of Real Estate in 1987, accepting a position with Countrywide Home Loans.
At Countrywide, she
became an active employee, regularly spear-heading blood and bone marrow drives.She
later transferred to its affiliate company, Land Safe Title Company
in 1997, where she
has been ever since.In 1999, Ani joined the Glendale Association of REALTORS® as an Affiliate Member and quickly immersed herself in organizing and participating in events that benefit the Glendale community.
For the last five years, she
has devoted her
time and tireless energy to organizing an annual REALTORS® Flag Day Event, along with other fellow Affiliate Members, to benefit New Horizons.Recognizing the great gem that she
is, the Association honored Ani
in 2000 as its Affiliate of the Year, earning her
recognition and commendations from numerous State and local representatives.Ani
is married to Joseph and is the proud mom of two lovely children, Christopher, who graduated from college this year, and Jennifer, a recent high school graduate.Ani
has become an integral part of the New Horizons' family.It is honored to recognize Ani Bedrosian Adaimy
as its Woman of the Year.
