After a considerable search process, we called and welcomed Pastor Andy Geleynse and his family to our church community.
On October 24, 2004, he was installed as our first pastor. In the spring of 2008 after a period of increasing tension and difficulty Pastor Andy and WCCC mutually agreed that they would part ways.

"We're very happy about it," said Pastor Andy Geleynse."As soon as we have a possession date then we can work towards getting over there," said Geleynse. He declined to reveal what the price of their new building will be saying, "It was a very fair price.

"We are disappointed; it would have been a great place to continue our ministry," said Pastor Andy Geleynse. There definitely is a place in town for us to carry on our work, he added. Geleynse said Wolf Creek has outgrown the church's present location. "It's like trying to run a Co-op grocery store out of a five-and-dime," he said."We need multiple rooms to run all our programs." Geleynse said the church felt Lacombe could've benefited from the church's expansion. "We want to build into Lacombe and be a 24/7 type of church," said Geleynse.
