During his seven years at SKI, Bigford solidified the magazine's position as the world's leading authority on equipment, instruction and travel and received consecutive Folio awards for general excellence among all special interest magazines.
...Bigford, who served as Editor-in-Chief of SKI Magazine since 1996, led the magazine to its place as the leading authority on equipment, instruction and travel for Baby Boomers and their families.Prior to joining SKI Magazine, Bigford was a senior editor for Snow Country magazine, and from 1989 to 1995, he served as the editor-in-chief for a Vermont-based group of magazines, which included Ski Racing, Ski Tech and the New England Skiers Guide.He was also the editor of the Aspen Daily News as well as the editor and publisher of the Summit County Journal in Breckenridge, CO.
