In law school, Andrew was Associate Managing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and he served as Student Leader of the Pro Bono Immigration Project, while also volunteering as a court-trained mediator and IRS-certified tax-preparer for indigent individuals. Andrew received the American Law Institute - American Bar Association Scholarship and Leadership Graduation Award, Mary Philbrook Public Interest Student Award, and the Honorable John F. Gerry Memorial Scholarship Award. Andrew is fluent in Spanish and has represented immigration clients before various immigration courts and the Government. In addition to his practice, Andrew is an Adjunct Professor in the ABA-approved Legal Studies program at Peirce College in Philadelphia, PA, where he instructs students seeking to become paralegals in Legal Research, Advanced Legal Writing, and Professionalism. Andrew Linenberg, Esq. has been appointed to the Special Needs Committee of Jewish Family and Children's Services of South Jersey (JFCS).
There, he will be working to support the organization's outreach and services to seniors and those with a range of disabilities. JFCS, located in Cherry Hill, provides comprehensive, caring social service to those of all ages, faiths and economic backgrounds who live in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester Counties in Southern New Jersey. "I am deeply honored to have this opportunity to give back to the community, and be part of an organization with such an important mission," said Linenberg.
