The Board of Supervisors learned late last month that Lamberto, the countys director of human resources for the last 10 years, was cited for soliciting a prostitute in Orange County on March 27. Lamberto, of Mission Viejo, informed Devereaux of the incident on March 30. Devereaux disciplined Lamberto, which among other things included a last-chance agreement, meaning any future transgressions by Lamberto would result in immediate termination.

Lamberto is now on paid administrative leave until the Board of Supervisors and staff can decide his future with the county, county spokesman David Wert said.
