The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) welcomes the appointment of Andrew Jackomos as Australia's first Commissioner for Aboriginal Children and Young People, but says he must hold governments accountable for their commitment to improving outcomes for Aboriginal children in Victoria.
