,who is taking part at a two-day Banja Luka conference on economic eligibility of Bosnia to integrate, said that when one observes the situation on the paper, the Bosnian economy increases every year for about 5 to 6 per cent. One can also see the increase of industrial production, but that is a very fragile situation still.
"We have seen that certain fundamental segments of economy have not yet reached the standards of the EU
and its demands, but privatization in the field of economy is highly necessary, especially by foreign investors, for we have observed that the privatization sector has been deteriorating lately", Lys
also emphasized that there employment rate is still high, and according to the official estimates more than 40 per cent of the citizens are unemployed.Lys
warned that such a state is not feasible for most people rely on bank loans and the money they receive from the outside.He
emphasized that Bosnia has to have laws and responsibility to implement them, and he
pointed out that the political stability is a condition for economic development of Bosnia.The Conference on the Bosnian Economic Eligibility to Integrate is organized by the Direction for Economic Planning of the Bosnian Council of Ministers, and numerous foreign and domestic representatives are taking part.
