Amy Skeen, MSW, LCSW, knows her leadership as the President/CEO of Girls in the Game goes far beyond fun and games.
Barriers to play sports, engage in leadership and health education, and have a safe place to play are issues of equity and quality of life that impact girls and their communities.

was honored by the National Council of Youth Sports
(NCYS) as the recipient of the Hersheyâ€™s STRIVE
Local Youth Sports Administrator of the Year and was named by Women Employed as one of the top 35 women making a positive difference for girls and young women in Chicago.
Amy holds her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Since 1999, she has been responsible for internal operations and program administration.
has over twenty years experience in not-for-profit program operations and staff development, specifically working with youth, families and communities.
In addition to administrative development, she
enjoys opportunities to work within the direct service programs, supporting staff to best meet the needs of the girls served.
