Nappaland Literary Agency is proud to announce that THIRSTY, by Amy Nappa, has been named the 2010 Theme Bible Study of the Year by the Assemblies of God denomination's national women's department.
As a result, thousands of churches across the nation will be using this book as their primary women's study next year. "I'm humbled to find my book honored in this way," said Amy Nappa after speaking at the Assemblies of God national convention in early August. "Assemblies of God women are wonderful people, and I'm grateful to be able to make a small contribution to their ministries through THIRSTY." In their announcement at convention, the national women's department described Amy's book this way: "THIRSTY beautifully retells the story of the woman at the well recorded in John 4...Amy Nappa tells the Samaritan woman's tale to encourage us to have our own personal encounter with Jesus--the only One who can truly satisfy our thirst." Amy Nappa is a bestselling and award-winning author, with more than a million copies of her books in print. She also serves as Executive Editor of women's ministry resources at Group Publishing, Inc. in Northern Colorado.

"In our hectic lives, women don't find enough time to develop authentic friendships with other women or time to grow deeper in their spiritual lives," says Amy Nappa, executive editor of Women's Ministry at Group Publishing.
Nappa led the team that created the Sweet Life Café, a spiritual retreat based on John 6:35, where Jesus says, "I am the bread of life," and developed for women of all ages and spiritual growth levels. "This easy-to-implement retreat is created for women who want to take a short time away from their busy schedules, slow down, and savor time with God and other women," says Nappa.
