With the state's top industries hitting troublesome times, Amy Lea, district director for the SBA said, it's a good opportunity to highlight some of the businesses that have helped to diversify the state's economy a little more in recent years.
"Technology is a great place for us to expand," Lea said. Already the state has seen growth in tech with Microsoft, NCAR, Eleutian and others locating and expanding in the state. With these technology businesses enhancing the state's economy, Lea said it's also a good time for people to consider launching new businesses, small businesses being one of the biggest employers in the country. "Overall, Wyoming is a great place to start and expand businesses," Lea said.
