Amy Jacober Staff Consultant amy.jacober@ymarchitects.com Amy Jacober started in youth ministry while still a youth, over twenty years later, she is still there! Currently she spends much time teaching practical theology and youth ministry at Truett Theological Seminary. She has served the local church in youth ministry in every role from volunteer to lead youth pastor.....which was also sometimes volunteer! Amy has served on both the Association of Youth Ministry Educators Board and currently on the board for the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry. She also serves on the mission wide committee for Young Life's Capernaum ministry (a ministry for teens with disabilities). She continues to serve at camps, conferences and in missions around the world focusing on youth. Amy holds her PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary in Practical Theology, as well as MSW, MDiv and MACSS (Master's in Church Social Services). She was ordained in 1998 as a baptist minister.

by Amy Jacober Amy Jacober is the proud mom of two beautiful girls and one handsome son and wife of one husband. They spend loads of time as a family doing ministry together. When not at camp or on a mission trip, they can be found at home cooking and playing games. She is a professor of youth ministry, serves as a volunteer with teens and loves to write and read with the intent of being a part of kingdom work. She has most recently authored The Adolescent Journey and has two new projects in the works.
