Amy was born September 6,1979 in Oklahoma City.She married John Graves on September 28, 2002.
She has attended FUMC of Moore since 1982.She considers herself blessed to be able to call this church and it's family her home.She graduated from OCU in 2000 as a Cum Laude with a BA in Religious Education and a minor in Adult and Juvenile corrections.She began working at FUMC of Moore full time in June of 2000 as the Education Director.Throughout her time here at the church she has enjoyed going on mission trips to Louisiana, Georgia, Colorado, Mexico, and Alaska.John and Amy continue living in Moore and calling this Church their home.

Amy Graves, director of Christian education, said about 50 children are enrolled.They study the same Bible story for five or six weeks in seven different rooms decorated around a "River of Life" theme.After a week they rotate to another setting.Each room is designed for a specific learning style, Graves said.

Improvements through the years included work on the church property in 1946, a building project in 1956-60, an $85,000 education wing added in 1963, a new sanctuary in 1967, a second wing for the education building in 1979 and completion of the Rotation project with volunteer labor in 2002.
