She has been active in affordable housing in Southern California for more than 18 years. 01-Oct-2014 PATH is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Anderson as the Executive Director of PATH Ventures. Amy has been actively involved in working with affordable housing in Southern California for over 18 years. She is a proven leader in planning, developing, and financing affordable housing and has impacted innumerable individuals and families from marginalized communities over the years. Prior to joining PATH Ventures, Ms. Anderson was a Senior Program Manager for six years at the California Housing Partnership Corporation. In this role, Amy provided financial consulting, technical assistance, and training to nonprofit and government clientele throughout Southern California. She also has had considerable first-hand experience as a housing developer with Abode Housing, formerly the L.A. Community Design Center. Amy received her master's degree in Urban Planning from UCLA and her B.A. in History from Cornell University. Ms. Anderson's passion for affordable housing extends beyond the workplace. She sat on the Board of Directors and was later President of the Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing (SCANPH). Amy also served a three-year term as Housing Commissioner and currently is a Planning Commissioner for the City of Santa Monica. "Leading PATH Ventures is an incredible opportunity to further my commitment to developing affordable housing in our community. I am very much looking forward to working with the PATH team to help homeless people find stability and grow," Amy shared. "Amy will be an excellent addition to the PATH family.
