Amr Azim, MD, FACOG
Dr. Azim is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and board eligible reproductive endocrinologist, with special expertise in assisted reproduction, fertility preservation, and endoscopic surgery.
He recently joined Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey where he directs the fertility preservation program.
Dr. Azim earned his masters and doctoral degrees at The University of Cairo Medical School where he also completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency.
completed a further Ob-Gyn residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical College
, followed by a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Cornell.
has extensive experience in fertility preservation, including ovarian stimulation in estrogen sensitive cancers (e.g. breast cancer), oocyte and ovarian tissue freezing, and evaluation of ovarian reserve and IVF
after cancer treatment.

research interests include the effects of ovarian stimulation on breast cancer and methods for freezing and transplantation of ovarian tissue.
