The newly elected President and Board of Directors of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) called on Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Altaf Hussain Choudhury, M.P. Hon'ble Minister of Commerce, GOB at Commerce Ministry Conference Hall on 26 January, 2006. DCCI President Mr. M. A. Momen introduced the DCCI Board of Directors to the Minister.He highlighted different problems of the business community and urged immediate solution.He also urged incentives to set up industries in the northern zone to combat poverty and unemployment problem of this area by setting small and medium enterprises. Commerce Minister Mr. Altaf Hussain Choudhury introduced the newly appointed commerce secretary Mr. Md.Minister Altaf Hussain Choudhury stated that the private sector is the prime player in doing business and the government is playing the role of facilitator.

The Hon'ble Minister for Commerce of Bangladesh Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Altaf Hossain Choudhury was the main speaker in the Seminar.The High Commissioner of Bangladesh Lt.The Hon'ble Minister for Commerce Air Vice Marshall (Retd.) Altaf Hossain Choudhury also visited the stalls with Hon. Mark Vaile.The match was inaugurated by Air Vice Marshall (Retd.) Altaf Hossain Choudhury, the Hon'ble Minister of Commerce of Bangladesh.The players' gear was sponsored by MB Knit Fashion of Bangladesh and the lunch was sponsored by Bangladesh Welfare Society of Cambelltown.
