first comics in alternative comic publications like De Omelet, Tante Leny Presenteert, De Vrije Balloen and Talent.He
is one of the founder members of Studio Arnhem and later of Studio De Wittenkade.In 1978 he
professional debut with 'Een Keurig Wit Pakje Met Geen Vlekje Besmeurd'.His

Between 1991 and 1997, Oosterwijk
created several stories for girl magazine Tina
, featuring characters like 'Mirte' and 'Blanche & Gijske', the latter with text by Patty Klein.
has additionally made erotic comics for the Spanish magazines
Totem El Comix and Kiss.Some of these stories were also published in Playhouse in Holland.Oosterwijk
is also active as courtroom artist for Panorama
and Algemeen Dagblad
On Friday 21 September 2001, a month-long exposition of the work of Aloys Oosterwijk
was opened in Galerie Lambiek.
