Allison B. Lesh
Allison spent her formative years on Kodiak Island in the Gulf of Alaska. Having escaped the bears in 1998, she graduated from Gonzaga University in 2002 with a degree in Italian Studies. Allison then returned to Kodiak and worked for the Alaska Department of Fish & Game as a wildlife technician where she plucked salmon scales and spent quality time with Alaska king crab and other creatures of the sea. Unable to handle the long, grey winters, Allison gave the LSAT a go. That was quite a success, so she fended off offers from Columbia and Georgetown Law to attend the Northwestern Law School (Lewis & Clark) on full scholarship. Although initially interested in Environmental Law, during her third year, two events shifted Allison's emphasis to Employment Law matters. First, Allison worked as a research assistant for her employment/labor law professor, Henry Drummonds, and witnessed first-hand the enjoyment that comes from helping others. Following a stint as a temporary legal assistant for Crispin Employment Lawyers in Portland, in April 2008, Allison accepted an associate position with Moore Jensen & Lesh. She and her husband, Adam, completed their move to Eugene in June 2008 and have been living among rabid Ducks fans ever since. Like her fellow MMJ attorneys, Allison is one of our leading Oregon Workers Compensation lawyers and Social Security Disability lawyers. On weekends, Allison can be found spending time with Adam and their 15 year old feline, Kitten. She enjoys camping, hiking, reading, listening to podcast lectures, playing cribbage and honing her ever-rusty violin and Italian language skills. Allison's life-long nerdiness reached its apex when she appeared on Jeopardy in May 2009.
