"Probably one of the ugliest possessions of my career right there," Irving told FOX Sports Ohio's Allie Clifton with a laugh.
An Ohio native, Clifton joined Fox Sports Ohio with over 10 years' experience playing competitive basketball and three years' experience as a sideline reporter and sports reporter.
Following an accomplished high school basketball career, Clifton continued her basketball success at The University of Toledo.
was a 4-year letter winner and 3-time co-captain, leading her
team to the Mid-American Conference (MAC) West Division title in 2010.
With a bachelor's degree in Sports Analysis and Communication and a master's in Communications, Clifton has served as sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens of minor league baseball's AAA International League, sports feature reporter for 13 ABC Action News in Toledo, and color analyst and sideline reporter for high school and collegiate basketball, volleyball, and track and field on Buckeye Cable Sports Net in Toledo.

CLEVELAND - A Van Wert native collected an Emmy Award Saturday night.
Allie Clifton, a 2006 graduate of Van Wert High School took home a statuette from The 45th Annual Lower Great Lakes Chapter Emmy Awards in Cleveland.
Clifton, who is a sideline reporter for the Cleveland Cavaliers with FOX Sports Ohio, was part of the winning entry in the category entitled, Sporting event/game/live/unedited.
"Our award was the result of a collective effort made by our entire crew, including our producer, director, color, play-by-play. and my sideline work," Clifton
attended the awards ceremony Saturday night and was impressed by the experience.
"It was phenomenal," she
"It was my first time at the event.
Last year I had an opportunity to be a presenter, but it was the same time as my bridal shower, so I couldn't attend.
This year I knew we were up for an Emmy, and I wanted to be there along with the rest of the FOX Sports Ohio Cavs broadcast team.
It was a great experience to see what it takes to make TV news and sports what it is today."
Clifton earned a Bachelor's degree in sports analysis and communication from the University of Toledo while playing on the women's basketball team for the Lady Rockets.
She also obtained a Master's in 2012 in communications.
For the past two seasons, she's
been featured on FOX Sports Ohio's Cavaliers' broadcasts.
"I love it.
"Saturday night was one of those moments where I just sat there and looked at the years I've put in so far, really focusing on the two I've been with FOX Sports Ohio and the Cavaliers, and it's just been a blessing.
It's been awesome, just an incredible ride so far with the daily challenges and working around the game at the highest level is something I truly enjoy.
It has been a dream come true, so I can't say anything but the best about what I'm doing."
Although the season is over for the Cavaliers and nearly over for all the teams, Clifton
is not slowing down.
