From 2003 through 2010, Alistair was Business Director at the US Dept. of Commerce/NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership's center in greater Chicago-land, serving the region's diverse client base of manufacturing firms of all sizes.
Prior to CMC, Alistair was a Vice President/Managing Director and Practice Leader at Giga Information Group, an IT research and advisory firm.
Before joining Giga, he worked for Baxter Healthcare Corporation in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility in the U.S. and Europe.
For over twenty-five years, Alistair's consulting clients and business experience have included organizations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
An alumnus of Plymouth (U.K.) and Northwestern Universities, Alistair holds professional certifications in innovation, growth and continuous improvement disciplines; he is a contributing author to two editions of the EPA's Lean and Environment toolkit.
He has served on several Advisory Boards in the healthcare and IT sectors, and is currently an advisor to a socially responsible farm-to-fork food business.
Alistair is also very active on the Boards of Directors of two chapters of Trout Unlimited.
