Alison Treleaven has more than 20 years experience, first in the entertainment industry and then in philanthropy that includes film and television development and production thru post-production, the cultivation of strategic partnerships, successful event planning and execution, team building and project management overseeing teams of marketing, communications, public relations, social media and operations. Alison has enjoyed a successful and rewarding career in melding the best of both her worlds - entertainment and philanthropy. Alison was hired as the Vice President of Entertainment Industry Partnerships for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles in 2006, after five years of service as a volunteer leader on the Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity Steering Committee. As a result of her experience in event production and the entertainment industry, she was successfully able to help foster and connect Hollywood celebrities and executives to support special events and fundraising for the organization with many entertainment companies that included: Disney, Fox, HBO, Sony, WB, CAA, UTA, WME and many film and television production companies. Alison was charged with hiring a team to manage each focus. Under this unique division, her team handled all aspects of special event management, public relations activities, communication, marketing and media while continuing to grow strategic partnerships with the entertainment industry. Prior to delving into the nonprofit realm through Habitat for Humanity, Alison worked in film and television production where she enjoyed the production process from script development through casting, production on set as well as through post-production, press tours, premieres and award season. She worked as a Chief of Staff or Gatekeeper for the principals at Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Films (where she worked on the ABC telefilms: Amy & Isabelle (starring Elisabeth Shue) and Their Eyes Were Watching God (starring Halle Berry)), Roth/Arnold Productions (where she worked on The Haunting (starring Liam Neeson, Lily Taylor, Owen Wilson & Catherine Zeta Jones)), The Avnet/Kerner Company (where she worked on D3: The Mighty Ducks (starring Emilio Estevez and Joshua Jackson) and George of the Jungle (starring Brendan Fraser & Leslie Mann)) and Jersey Films (where she worked on Pulp Fiction (starring John Travolta, Samuel L.
