Before joining InkHouse, Alison was at the Boston-based Solomon McCown & Co. for nearly six years.
During her tenure there, she developed and managed communications programs for corporate, real estate, finance, professional services, and consumer clients.
also played a key role in the firm's real estate practice, including community and media relations for companies in all of real estate's vertical sectors.
played a supporting role in the operations of the business.
Alison's love of communications was inspired by her
role as a regular anchor on her
high school's news station.
Since then, she
has moved behind the camera but is still thrilled when her
clients are under the bright lights.
embarked on her
career in public relations after spending several years as an event planner, where she
assisted in planning some of the largest events in Boston, which included parties for the Democratic National Convention
and Senator Edward Kennedy.
Outside of work, Alison is a figure skating coach and spends a great deal of time listening to music that might lead to the next gold medal for one of her students.
She earned her undergraduate degrees in communications and computer information systems at Quinnipiac University and her master's degree in marketing communications at Emerson College.
