Dr Alexis McLean
Dr Alexis McLean joins Wrexham Business School from Strathclyde and Paisley Business Schools, where she held Lectureships and then a Senior Lectureship.

also undertook a review and rationalisation programme of all academic teaching, research and administration, which had an extremely positive outcome for both academic staff and students.
At Paisley, Alexis was also responsible for the management of academic staff, and held many senior management roles within the university.
Alexis is an active researcher.
main focus of expertise is in qualitative data collection and analysis, particularly specialising in Grounded Theory Research.

It is in this area that Alexis
is currently undertaking a research study focused on the new phenomenon of "Networking clubs", assessing their impact on entrepreneurial and SME activity.
Alexis has taught for many years at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is an Associate Professor at the prestigious Toulouse Business School.
