COLONIE - A 24-year-old Latham man was charged with four felonies last week following an investigation that alleges he
had engaged in an eight-month sexual relationship with a 14-year-old he
coerced into complying, Colonie Police said.Alexander A. Oouch
of Latham Village Apartments was charged with felony rape, possession of a sexual performance by a child and use of a child in a sexual performance, plus a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child, police said. He
was arraigned on these charges in Town Court Saturday and held in the Albany County jail.Oouch is employed as a cheerleading and dance coach by X-Factor's All Stars Cheer and Dance Gym at 4 Walker Way, according to police.
...The unidentified victim took private lessons from Oouch, the chief said, and during these lessons the alleged abuse began.
as a popular instructor of almost 175 students during recent years, Heider said the instructor also harbored an attraction to young women in subordinate positions and said the victim was "frozen" and did not know how to report the alleged abuse.
The relationship came to light Friday evening when two associates of Oouch
, who were described by Heider as a man and woman who happened to know the victim, visited Ouch at his home.
