Alex Martignago managing director, Computer Sciences CorporationAlex Martignago, managing director of Computer Sciences Corpor-ation, remembers technology back in the 1970s, when producing even a simple report was a monumental ordeal.
Since those graduate school days, he
has witnessed a rate of change in information technology that has been, in many ways, beyond compare.
However, one important constant throughout the years has been Martignago's determination to make his
has, after all, been doing just that for three decades."With the size of our community, if I were helping [clients] to not succeed, then I would have had to have moved out of town a long time ago," says Martignago, a veteran consultant with Ernst & Young who joined CSC four years ago.
In fact, during the past four years, Martignago
has seen his
local business double, and he
expects to continue on that pace.
"Technology is such a significant part of whether a business is behind or ahead of its competition," Martignago
With so many options available, why would a company choose CSC

"We are not a company that makes computers ... that someone else develops, so we can be open-minded and focus on producing results," says Martignago
Outside of his
professional role, Martignago
has also helped "produce results" in his
community.He serves on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Develop-ment Committee for SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. His two daughters both graduated from Visitation Academy, where he served as president of the Father's Club.
The oldest one has followed in her
