As Executive Director for the Cradle of Forestry Interpretive Association, Alex Comfort recognized that his organization could begin a profitable business of putting on conferences for governmental agencies and also taking over some financial work for them.
Alex was instrumental in securing a partnership with Southern Appalachian Man and the Biosphere for the CFIA since 2009. With this agreement, he played a major role in managing SAMAB's finances, acted as liaison between the participating organizations, and helped to develop and facilitate yearly SAMAB conferences.
This distinction is often given to much large companies, but workers at Office Environments stood out for their willingness to help just about anyone who asked, said Alex Comfort, who nominated the business.
"The truth is they have done more with their reach than just about anybody I can name," said Comfort, who is the executive director of the Cradle of Forestry Interpretive Association.
