Alejandro Lemus was born in Mexico City
A descendant of an artistic family, he is a third generation sculptor.
started modeling in clay at a very early age, at 8 years old he
was featured as a child prodigy on the popular mexican TV show "Siempre en Domingo" hosted by hosted by the famous Raul Velasco.

began designing and sculpting marionettes as his
Alejandro came to the United States in 1985 to work as a figurative sculptor in New York.
reputation as a fine sculptor preceded him, and in a short time he
was designing and creating fine dolls and figurative sculptures for a number of leading companies and private collectors.
During this time he
was specializing in porcelain at the prestigious Parson's School of Design
in New York City.
In 1987 he
moved to Chester County, PA, where he
home and studio.
