Dr. Albert L. Travis is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Organ at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He served on the faculty of the School of Church Music from 1977-2008. Dr. Travis has been Organist of Broadway Baptist Church in Fort Worth since 1978, and is currently serving as Organist and Director of Music Ministries, He plays the Rildia Bee O'Bryan Cliburn Organ. The Casavant organ has 191 ranks, the largest installation by the Canadian organ company. Dr. Travis has degrees from Oklahoma Baptist University, Syracuse University and The University of Michigan.

A member of ASCAP, Dr. Travis has organ and choral publications with MorningStar Music Publishers, Hope Publishing Co., Augsburg, and Alfred. Dr. Travis can be heard on a compact disc recording playing the Jongen Symphonie Concertante and the Saint-Saens Organ Symphony with the Fort Worth Symphony. He also appears on three other CD's of hymns festivals recorded at Broadway Baptist Church. Dr. Travis maintains an active schedule as hymn festival leader, improvisation workshop clinician, arranger, and composer.

Dr. Albert L. Travis joins Stoker Resources Group as a a congregational project consultant in the areas of organ and worship consulting. He has taught at Fort Worth's Southwestern Seminary since 1977 and has also served as organist at Broadway Baptist Church in Fort Worth since 1978.
At Broadway Baptist Church, Dr. Travis plays the Rildia Bee O'Bryan Cliburn Organ, Casavant's largest installation. Dr. Travis has served as Regional Councillor for Region VII for the American Guild of Organists from 1992 to 1996. He maintains an active schedule as hymn festival leader, improvisation workshop clinician, arranger, and composer.
