Harriet J. Winer has been named Vice President for Leadership Gifts, and Albert G. Effrat has been designated National Vice President for Development.
In their new roles, Winer and Effrat
will focus on advancing the College's goals for Phase Two of its $100 million capital campaign, launched earlier this year.

and Harriet will be integral to our success, and I welcome their arrival and look forward to working with them."
Effrat joins Hebrew College after 12 years as southern regional director for the American Society for Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
From 1987 to 1991, he was Florida regional director and, later, national director of special projects in Washington, D.C., for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
In a professional career of service to the Jewish people, he
has served community federations and community centers in Binghamton, N.Y.; Harrisburg, Penn.; and Waterbury, Conn.
He holds a BA from Rider University and an MEd from North Adams State College.
A resident of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Effrat
will maintain his
home base in Florida while traveling on behalf of the College.
