Once again the SQA exams ran very smoothly, thanks to the efforts of Mr Stewart, SQA co-ordinator, Mrs Chudleigh, Chief Invigilator, and her team of invigilators.
Mr Alan Stewart is retiring as Depute Head Teacher, formerly Principal Teacher of Guidance. He has contributed enthusiastically to many areas of school life and will be missed. Good wishes to him too for a happy retirement - and keep your mobile switched on, Alan, in case we cannot find anything! Mr Stewart and Mr O'Brien devised a course for S4 pupils called " Enterprise through Craft" which has been most successful. Called Enterprise through Craft, the course is the brainchild of the Technology Department, particularly Mr Alan Stewart and Mr Derek O'Brien. It is to Mr Stewart's and Mr O'Brien's credit the amount of time, energy and creativity which has gone into developing this course.
