CHARLOTTE -- Charlotte 49ers head men's basketball coach Alan Major is taking a leave of absence due to health issues.
just completed his
fourth season at the helm of the 49ers men's basketball program.
A news release from the school did not specifically say what Major's
health issues were, except that his
family has a history of heart and eye issues.
The release also did not say who would be in charge of the program in his
