Rabbi Alan Greenbaum
Rabbi Alan Greenbaum has been working in the Jewish community for over thirty years, having served congregations in Memphis, Tennessee, Galveston, Texas, Thousand Oaks, and Sonoma California. He enjoys teaching, music and working with youth. His community philosophy emphasizes inter-generational activities. He has a passion for the subject of "Jews and the Gold Rush" which he likes to share with others. Rabbi Greenbaum actively promotes having a close relationship with the land and people of Israel, periodically leading tours to Israel. He also encourages the synagogue community to live out its role as part of the larger community.
Teaching Staff
Rabbi Greenbaum takes an active role preparing students for Bar/Bat Mitzvah and has his own group of post B'nai Mitzvah students called The Rabbis Kids.
