Captain Al Maich, Redmond (Oregon) Police Department (retired) - Al is originally from Canada. He's now a Patrol Captain in Redmond and makes the 3-hour, one-way; commute to Portland nearly every Monday night for band rehearsals.
Al came to us in early 2005 and is the former PM of the Oregon Defense Force Pipe Band.
Responders in serious condition after ambulance crash - Jefferson County, Oregon
According to a press release from Capt. Alex Maich of the Redmond Police Department, the Jefferson County ambulance was transporting patient William P. Davis and headed south on Highway 97, when it impacted a car driven by Casey J. Hagan, which was almost stopped in the center lane to make a left turn.
