, 55, to Chief Scientific, Health & Regulatory Affairs Officer, a newly created role dually reporting to Joaquin Pelaez, Yum!
has over thirty years of domestic and international experience in agriculture and manufacturing, working with consumer products companies, the retail food industry, governmental agencies and professional institutions.His
experience spans research and development, food safety, quality assurance and microbiology. Baroudi also founded the Food Safety Institute, International and served as President and Chief Quality Officer where he directed food research and development as well as quality assurance programs for corporations and government agencies.Prior to that, he served as the Vice President of Corporate Quality Assurance and Environmental Affairs for The Vons Companies, Inc., and for 15 years at Borden, Inc. in a variety of plant management, food safety and research and development capacities.
