Ahmed Helmy Senior Director of Engineering Ahmed has 15 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal and RF design. At SWS, Ahmed managed the design, characterization and sampling activities of a currently in production MEMS-based clock generator. Prior to joining SWS, Ahmed was with MEMScAP where he started as an RFIC design engineer of low voltage RF mixers using high Q MEMS transformer devices. He worked also in the design of integer-N, sigma-delta fractional-N PLL frequency synthesizers and an offset transmitter PLL for the GSM system. Ahmed received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and communication engineering from Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Ahmed has authored/co-authored 8 IEEE conference papers, an IEEE journal paper, and a pending US patent.
