Adrianna Riccio, 6th Grade Inclusion Teacher, joined the E.L. Haynes staff in July 2011. Adrianna is a Philadelphia native, but has lived several places since then. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree in special education and elementary education with a minor in deaf studies. After graduation, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she taught students with emotional disturbance in a partial hospital program for 1.5 years. In 2010, she relocated to the DC area to teach students with severe disabilities and the deaf and hard of hearing. She is currently pursuing a graduate program in literacy at Trinity Washington University and will graduate in May, 2012.
