Mr. Adrian L. Green
is a native of Detroit and was educated in the Detroit Public Schools system graduating from the now defunct but never dead Murray-Wright High School in 1987.
He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida A&M University in 1991 and returned to Detroit where he began his career as a Public Safety Officer for the Detroit Public Schools.
Since 1993, Adrian has worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections in the Field Operations Administration.
He has held several positions in the Department, including Parole/Probation Officer, Field Supervisor, and Area Manager.
Adrian also served the People of the State of Michigan as a Member of the Michigan Parole Board in 2003.
Since its inception, Adrian has been very involved in the Michigan Prisoner Re-Entry Initiative and served as FOA Co-Chair in Wayne County in 2008.
He was also a Contract Administrator for the Department's Female Inmate Bed Reduction Initiative (FIBOR) and had direct oversight responsibilities for the Females In Transition Halfway House Program from 2004-2006.
As member of the local FOA Management Team, Adrian served as a Department representative for the Labor/Management Team.
Community Service and giving back has been a hallmark of Adrian's adult life.

He is a 33° Scottish Rite Mason and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Michigan Council of Deliberation Foundation where he currently serves as Chairman of the Scholarship Committee.
He is a member of the Michigan Democratic Party, a former Precinct Delegate of District 6-46, a member of the 13th Congressional District Democratic Organization and the Trade Union Leadership Council (TULC).
He is also a member of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association.
Adrian is a member of The Greater Christ Baptist Church in Detroit where he humbly serves the membership as a Deacon.
has been married for 13 years to Veronica Green who is an Assistant Social Services Specialist for Vistas Nuevas Head Start
They have two children, a son, Adrian L. Green, Jr. who is a sixth grader at Plymouth Educational Center and a daughter, Erynn Latrice, who is a fifth grader at Bates Academy.
