has over 25 years experience managing private client accounts, unit trusts and pension funds for a number of leading investment companies in the UK and internationally.Adrian has a degree in Economics and began his career in the City with NatWest and then Buckmaster & Moore as a private client investment manager before moving, in 1984, to Hong Kong, where he managed pension funds and unit trusts as well as private client funds for Barings, Gartmore and the large Dutch bank ABN Amro.

was part of the award winning Far East Team at Global Asset Management, where he
personally managed £700 million of assets in Asia, around which he
travelled extensively.Opting for a change in life-style in 1998, he returned to his roots in the West Country and in 1999 was asked to establish the private client investment management department at Thring Townsend (then Thrings and Long), which has since grown steadily to over 100 clients.
The position enables Adrian
to offer a highly personalised and more traditional 'stockbroking' service to his
clients, in contrast to the often impersonal service encountered at many large firms that now dominate the industry.
