Opera San José - Adam Meza
returns during the 2010 - 2011 season to perform the role of Figaro in The Barber of Seville.
Previously, Mr. Meza
appeared as Des Bretigny in the 2009 - 2010 production of Manon, and made his
company debut as Morales (Carmen) during Opera San José's
2008 - 2009 season.
has performed extensively throughout the Bay Area, including the roles of Guglielmo ( Così fan tutte ) with North Bay Opera, Marcello (La bohème) with Livermore Valley Opera, Tartuffe ( Tartuffe) with the Bay Area Summer Opera Theatre, Vicomte Cascada ( The Merry Widow) with West Bay Opera, Prince Yeletsky ( The Queen of Spades) with Pocket Opera and Handsome ( La fanciulla del West) with Cinnabar Opera.
With the San Francisco Conservatory of Music
sang the roles of Ipparco ( L'Egisto), Demetrius (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Almaviva ( Le nozze di Figaro), the King in Massenet's Cinderella and the Father (Hansel and Gretel).
Mr. Meza received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he also received Departmental Honors for Outstanding Achievement in Opera.
