Abdullah Bin Tarmugi - Independent Director
He is an Independent Director of our Company.
He was appointed to our Board of Directors on 7 June 2012.
At present, he

He is currently a member on the Board of Trustees of National University of Singapore.
He is also a Partner of the Leadership Practice LLP.
He is presently a member of the Presidential Council for Minority Rights and was the Speaker of Parliament from 2002 to 2011.
He has also served as a Member of Parliament for Siglap, Singapore from 1984 to 2011.
Previously, he has held various high profile ministerial positions in the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Community and Development and Sports.
Prior to his political career, he was a Research Manager with Singapore Press Holdings Limited.
Prior to that, he was employed by The Strait Times as an Associate News Editor, and as a leader and feature writer.
Before that, he was a Senior Statistician and Planning Analyst with the Ministry of National Development of Singapore.
Prior to that, he worked as an Urban Sociologist with the Ministry of National Development.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) Degree from the University of Singapore (now known as National University of Singapore).
He also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Urban Studies (Developing Countries) (with Merit) conferred by the University College, University of London under the Commonwealth Scholarship.
