Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Abdullah Al-Murad addressed the UN General Assembly during discussion of this issue, late on Monday, and said the latest agreement between Iran and the IAEA was "an important step on the road to dispel the fears and doubts surrounding the Iranian nuclear program.
The ambassador had also noted "the State of Kuwait calls upon the international community to join its efforts and continue the work in order to reach a peaceful solution for this crisis, thus sparing the Gulf region from any crisis that will disrupt peace and stability."He
expressed "hope the dialogue and cooperation will continue in a transparent manner until all the issues and international concerns are addressed.
Closer to home, "acknowledging the right of states in the region to acquire the experience (they) need in the fields of nuclear energy for peaceful purpose," Al-Murad
