A.P. Davidson was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.He graduated from Richland High School in 1983.Davidson
enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps
and spent his
eighteenth birthday in boot camp.Upon discharge from the Marines, A.P. found himself in the deserts of Yuma, Arizona and was hired by the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.He spent the next several years working as a patrol officer along the Mexican border.While there A.P. served as a SWAT team member, Accident Investigator and Corporal.

was assigned to the Highway Patrol in McKinney.In 2002 his
dream of becoming a Texas Ranger came true.A.P.
worked the next fourteen months as the Ranger in Cleburne serving the citizens of Johnson
, Ellis and Somervell Counties before transferring back to McKinney.
became the Officer's Association
representative in district 1A in 2005.He
knows that the officers of the Texas Department of Public Safety
