GHJA REGULAR MEMBER SHOWS
GHJA and its members shall be governed by the current rules of AHSA unless the same are in conflict with current rules and regulations of GHJA
Sec. 2. Jurisdiction - In shows recognized by both AHSA and GHJA, AHSA rules shall govern.Where the rules of AHSA do not cover a particular class or situation covered by GHJA rules, GHJA rules shall apply.In those cases where GHJA rules impose a higher standard of conduct than is provided for by the applicable AHSA rules, failure to comply with GHJA rules may result in a violation.
Sec. 3. Show Membership Fees - The annual dues for each Regular Member Show shall be $ 60.00, and the dues for each AHSA Local Member Show and Regular Member Breeding Show shall be $ 30.00.A show may not have both Regular and Local recognition.
Sec. 1. Certification and Fees - In order to garner points toward GHJA annual championship awards in any division, a horse must be registered by its owner with GHJA
and a Registration Certificate be issued in evidence thereof.The lifetime registration fee is $ 15.00.If three or more horses are registered at the same time by the same owner, the fee will be $ 12.50 per horse.It is the responsibility of the owner to ascertain that the Registration Certificate has been issued.
A. No points will be credited to a horse toward annual awards until the horse is registered and the owner is a member.An.

Sec. 2. The Hearing Committee shall meet within thirty (30) days of the receipt by the Executive Secretary of GHJA

Sec. 3. At shows recognized jointly by AHSA and GHJA, any protest or charge arising exclusively out of GHJA rules or which involves points awarded under GHJA rules shall fall under the jurisdiction of the GHJA Hearing Committee.
Part II.Violations and Penalties.
Sec. 1. The Hearing Committee shall have jurisdiction over violations of the rules of GHJA
or, as adopted, the rules of AHSA and may impose such penalties as set forth in the current AHSA Rule Book.

Sec. 2. Upon the receipt of official notice that AHSA has taken disciplinary action against any person or show that is subject to the rules of GHJA, the Hearing Committee shall, after notice, adopt a decision of AHSA as a decision of GHJA

Part III.Rules for Determining Champion.
Sec. 1. Provided that the By-Laws and the rules and regulations of GHJA
are complied with, the rules governing yearly championships and the awarding of championship trophies are :.
A. Except as noted, only points won in a GHJA Regular Member Show shall count toward an award in the Regular.
