Who is The Downtown Sailing Center
The DSC is one of several hundred community sailing centers recognized by the United States Sailing Association (USSA), the national governing bodyof sailing. The DSC has received several awards including: US Sailing for Outstanding New Community Sailing Program 1997, Outstanding Seasonal Community Sailing Program 1999, and Outstanding Director of a Seasonal Program (Kirk Culbertson) 2001. Our Accessible Sailing program was featured on Maryland Public Television as part of their Outdoors Maryland program. Watch the video here.
